Holme Fen
The lowest point in England and featuring the largest lowland area of Silver Birch. This site is managed by the Great Fen and is a protected nature reserve and SSSI. Over the years, I have explored this woodland extensively and become attached to some of the local ‘characters’ which I have photographed in all seasons. In the early morning mist & fog, Holme Fen comes alive and transforms into a magical ethereal wonderland.
