I’m lucky enough to have plenty of ancient woodland available nearby to where I live in South Lincolnshire. There is a particular woodland I love, which, whilst a bit of a hike to get to, contains a lovely collection of gnarly oak trees. If i’m lucky I also get to see the odd stag although to date I have yet to get a good shot of one!
